Hey thanks for that. You sound very professional. I don't think I've ever actually heard you sing it out like that before.
You can really do it. I have no doubt that if you want a career in music, you can make one. Can't buy talent. You've just got to have it, then refine it into something all together your own.
I think you do a pretty decent rendition of the track. Your pitch and intonation are pretty much dead on. The tempo is decidedly slow, and the pauses between phrases are a bit too lengthy. All in all, a decent interpretation of a very good song.
(Funny thing was, at the end of your take on the song, I expected to hear the next bit of music cutting in hard and heavy, like on the album...)
Hey, d'ya think you could send me the AIFF/WAV file of the original recording, sans reverb/effects/EQ, for me to play with and send back? Just for fun? You can drop it into my .Mac public folder. I think you might like what I can do with it.
I'm guessing the files wouldn't be that very big... if it's mono and CD-quality (44.1kHz/16-bit), it should be about 5MB/minute, if I recall. Perhaps still too big for email, though.
If you have access to a Mac running OS X, you should be able to connect to my public folder for .Mac. Do you know how to do this? My .Mac username is my firstnamelastname, all lower case, no spaces.
Failing the high-tech solution, you could always also just mail them to me on a CD-R. :)

LSD- its interesting to actually chase something. I've never cared for anything I've tried so far. This feels different. Anyway, thank you.

I'll get the guy to give me a copy of the originals for you. How do you propose I send you files that big?
